Become a Rotarian
Joining Rotary starts the same way it always has, as a guest at one of our meetings. Come see what we’re about, get to know our members, and if it feels like a fit, we’ll welcome you in.
Step 1: Visit as Our Guest
Attend a meeting on the 2nd or 4th Wednesday, 5:30 PM at Sloan’s Restaurant. No RSVP required, though you’re welcome to contact us first if you’d like a member to meet you there.
Step 2: Get to Know Us
Come to a few meetings, meet our members, and learn more about the projects we’re working on in the Eastern Coachella Valley. There’s no pressure and no obligation, just an open door.
Step 3: Apply for Membership
When you’re ready, a current member can sponsor your application. Our Board reviews and votes on new members, and once approved, you’ll be inducted at an upcoming meeting.
What Membership Involves
- Dues: Contact us for current dues information
- Attendance: Members are asked to maintain 60% meeting attendance
- Time commitment: Two meetings a month, plus involvement in at least one service project or committee
- Classification: Rotary values a diverse mix of professions in every club, your job, business, or vocation is part of what you bring to the table
